We have been doing this for years now after many years of talking about it with the late, great, Dave Jones and many others. For any one with a 4 Wheeled toy, or simply if you want to bring the other half along in comfort to see what we do, what a blast it is. So here it is again to give us an extended season of getting out in the lanes and getting together late in the year, call it an early Christmas doo lol.. Don't knock it till you've tried it people, this is a real hoot in any vehicle and the roads are well chosen for cars. This is your chance to dig out your 4 wheel favorite, maybe grab the Mrs (or Mr) or even a mate and get out for a weekends 4 wheeled sightseeing on the best roads I know. Any vehicle with 3 wheels or more that is capable of completing around 400 miles ish without having to be pushed by others too much will do the trick. So the plan is to meet up at the NEW MEETING PLACE - RAVEN CAFE - NEXT-DOOR TO The Midway Truck Stop - Cafe, Prees Heath, Whitchurch SY13 3JT. Take the A41 south from the Whitchurch Bypass for 1.4 miles. The Cafe is just before the second roundabout, on the Northbound side, where the A41 meets the A49, on Friday 4th November. Please be there for 9.45 for a 10.00 am departure and fuel up as you arrive, but arrive much earlier if you want to take a coffee. Then we'll take some lovely quiet roads to eventually arrive about 5pm at our fabulous digs, somewhere in deepest Wales. After what is always a good night for the 4WF gang, Saturday morning we'll take a nice breakfast before taking another fabulous route to eventually arrive at our next nights digs somewhere else is deepest Wales for our Bonfire night get together (please bring a Firework). After a great night and a wee drink we will hit the sack ready for our final days driving. Sunday morning after a lovely breakfast, we will take yet another stunning rout back towards the boarder using more well chosen car roads. We will use more lovely quiet roads (Old and New) with great views to eventually arrive back at the starting point in the afternoon, giving all plenty of time to get home. As always I will plan a nice, quiet route with plenty to see on the very best roads I know for our 4 wheeled toys. I will sort the digs, which will have safe parking, nice rooms and good and reasonably priced food and drink. I will provide details and Walkie Talkies for every car to help keep us all on the same road and allow for general chit chat and banter on the move!. Based on the last few year it will be a great doo, and the perfect opportunity to get out your other toy or get some motoring pleasure from the family 4, it matters not what you have, it is where and how you use it that counts (really, we've had from Porsche's to 4 x 4's and even vans in the past and all have had a ball).
