April, 1st, 2nd & 3rd 2022 - THE BTBC TOUR OF WALES WEEKEND 2022. - Here by popular demand - This is it, our very first big Bike weekend away for 2022. Always a good excuse to get the bike out early and definitely the way to make sure you have an exciting and active year on your bike in 2022. This is the trip where new friendships are made and plans are sorted for the rest of 2022. We will be sticking to the 3 day format to get time to do all the really interesting lanes that Wales has to offer. We have done this for years now and it is a real improvement. So the plan is to meet up at the NEW MEETING PLACE - RAVEN CAFE (it has better outside covered seating) - NEXTDOOR TO The Midway Truck Stop - Cafe, Prees Heath, Whitchurch SY13 3JT. Take the A41 south from the Whitchurch Bypass for 1.4 miles. The Cafe is just before the second roundabout, on the Northbound side, where the A41 meets the A49. Please be there for 9.45 for a 10.00am departure and fuel up as you arrive. Please arrive much earlier than this if you want to take a coffee/breakfast. This should allow people from further afield to travel over on the Friday Morning. We will then take straight to the back roads and do some stunning lanes, to arrive at our fabulous DIGS in deepest Wales around 5.30pm. April 30th, May 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th 2022 (**5 Nights**) - 'THE BTBC SCOTTISH HIGHLAND TOUR 2022'. Building on the fantastic 2021 trip, welcome to the new 6 day format for the BTBC 'Fabulous' Scottish Highland Tour 2022. . **The plan is to meet up at the NEW MEETING PLACE, SCOTCH CORNER SERVICES PETROL STATION AT 9AM on the morning of Saturday the 30th. Please fuel up as you arrive. We will then head north west up into the borders. From the meeting point we'll take a interesting and complicated route up through the Scottish lowlands, to eventually Cross the Clyde to our first Hotel overlooking the lock. North of the Clyde. After a good meal and maybe a wee drink, we will get a good nights kip before we rise early for breakfast the next morning, to start to head up the West Coast via a spectacular route to Applecross. Here we will spend the next two nights, giving us the opportunity for a day off, or to explore more of Scotland, a trip to Skye or Loch Ness, are all within day-trip distance. As usual, we have already got permission to have a fire and party on the beech if the weather is good, so whichever of the two nights has the best forecast, will become our annual BTBC Beech Party (Very special, weather permitting). Tuesday, we continue north to pastures new, on a stunning loop towards Cape Wrath, then down to our next night in the Highlands in a stunning location, north of Inverness. Wednesday morning, after an early breakfast we continue south, eventually arriving at our last Hotel in Scotland, for more food, drink and banter. This trip is a must do for anyone wishing to give their 4 wheeled favorite a good run out in the sun, either solo, with your partner, or with a good friend. We will all meet up on Friday 10th, before lunch to hopefully give everyone the chance to join in from anywhere in the UK and give us more time to do all the fantastic routes and take in all the sights this stunning run has to offer. July - 2nd to 13th 2022 (Confirmed dates) - THE BTBC STELLA ALPINA GREAT ESCAPE 2022 + ALL THE VERY BEST WITH A POSH, WET REST - This trip has now been over 2 years in the making and will be a truly superb trip with very limited numbers. A very posh, and exciting trip with some of the very best routes we have ever done and some of the very best roads I have always wanted to do, all in the old spirit of the BTBC. I had been working harder than ever throughout lockdown to find ways to improve our fantastic annual trip to the Stella Alpina Rally and make last years trip a very special trip to remind us all what we have been missing! Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be, but I did managed to secure most of the digs we needed to do it in 2022. So, with a little more fine tuning this year it will be at last, The Great Excape + all the very best, with a posh, wet rest. Some fantastic new routes will take in many of the very best balcony and Gorges roads this area has to offer, definitely not the year to miss people. This will be a true Alpine Holiday/adventure. It will have all the very best from over the years, so do not worry, you will still get the chance to ride all your favorite passes, including many of the highest and most stunning road passes in the Alps. But for this year, the plan is to also take in some breathtaking new Balcony and Gorge roads taking us well into pastures new, hence the extra couple of days. But make no mistake, this will still be a relaxed and enjoyable trip with the odd extra coffee and Ice cream stop, after all, we are all on holiday. But still with some old school fantastic riding and some dramatic new stuff for the more adventurous amongst you. The trip will include many of the very best and highest mountain passes on route to explore our all-time favorite roads in the Alps and this year we will also be taking the opportunity to kayak down a stunning river gorge {30+ Km} (Or you can spend the whole day relaxing around the pool at our 'NEW POSH' Digs, if you prefer). We will do the very best Balcony roads I know of, including the stunning quiet side of the Grand Canyon du Verdon, as well as my all-time favorite high Alp passes and the Stella Alpina Rally. This will without doubt be a most excellent and enjoyable trip with plenty of new and old places to see, while having time to chat, drink, swim and even get a small rest. This whole trip will be "Old School" biking Nirvana..................

September 9th, 10th & 11th 2022 - A REAL BLAST FROM THE PAST AGAIN - THE NEW 'COAST TO COAST CHALLENGE' RUN 2022 - Many of you out there will still fondly recall the heady days of The BTBC National Coast to Coast Rally Challenge, when up to, and over 70 Bigtrailbikes would descend on Flamborough Head Light House to compete in this very special Biktrailbike navigation rally. Some of you may even still have the T-shirts or trophies from one or more of the years this remarkable event ran (Make sure you bring them for the C2C Run)! So, in memory of this truly wonderful event and to celebrate eventually getting out of lock-down, again!, we once more give you the all new, 'Coast to Coast Challenge' Run 2022. This run will build on 2021 and take in many of the very best roads and lanes the event covered over the years, all in the true spirit of the event itself, while traveling from sea to shining sea across this stunning part of the country. A real 'Old School' Bigtrailbike run, including all the very best roads and lanes that formed part of this spectacular challenge. All wrapped up in a fantastic weekend away on the bike with like minded people. The trip will include 3 days of riding the best and most obscure roads and lanes from the coast to coast rally (don't worry, you won't have to worry about navigation!), along with two nights superb hotel accommodation in stunning locations overlooking each coast on a B&B basis. The Coast 2 Coast Challenge 2022 (Who's going?)
September 30th to October 5th 2022 - ' SCOTTISH 4 WHEELS FORWARD 'APPLECROSS OR BUST ' 2022'. To build on the overwhelming success of the last two 4WF Scottish trips, all agreed we should do it all again in 2022. Welcome to the third Scottish 4 Wheels Forward - Applecross or Bust, Highland Mystery Tour 2022. Again, we have extended the trip by the one night to make it more of a holiday and allow extra time in this stunning part of the world to take in some of the best driving roads anywhere in the world. The New Meeting Place is, in, or near the far end of the Coach Park across from the pumps, up from Greggs, at Moto Ferrybridge Services J33, A1(M), where it crosses the M62. Follow the Coach signs as you enter and fuel up as you arrive please. We will meet up at 9.15 sharp, for a 9.30AM departure. I will hand out a Walkie Talkie for each vehicle as usual to help with directions and for general 4WF banter on the move. This is a reasonably central meeting point with good motorway access for all and a selection of digs nearby for those who wish to stay over. We will then be away for 9.30am onto some lovely roads heading Northwest. Please fuel up as you arrive and arrive much earlier if you wish to take coffee or a breakfast. From the meeting point, we'll take an interesting and complicated route up through Yorkshire and into the Scottish Borders to eventually Cross the Clyde. Then it's over some lovely roads to our first Hotel overlooking a Loch to watch the sun go down. November 4th, 5th & 6th 2022 - ' WALES 4WF BONFIRE NIGHT BASH MYSTERY TOUR 2022'. Always a superb 4WF weekend away. For any fine weather bike riders out there, or for any one with a 4 Wheeled pet to exercise. Here it is, to extended our season of getting out in the lanes and getting together one last time in the year, call it an early Christmas doo lol. Don't knock it till you've tried it people, this is a real hoot in any vehicle and the roads are well chosen for cars. This is your last chance this year to dig out your 4 wheel favorite, maybe grab the Mrs (or Mr) or even a mate and get out for a weekends 4 wheeled sightseeing on the best roads I can come up with. Any vehicle with 3 wheels or more that is capable of completing around 400 miles ish without having to be pushed by others too much will do the trick. The plan is to meet up at the NEW MEETING PLACE - RAVEN CAFE - NEXT-DOOR TO The Midway Truck Stop - Cafe, Prees Heath, Whitchurch SY13 3JT.
